In regards to donations, while I do appreciate them and very thankful to those of you who have donated to show your support of RUMA even knowing it will be some time before I can get it released.

I just wanted to post this clarification because the donation button is here now which might confuse things. Donations through this button are for RUMA, and my time & commitment to it or to buy me a beer for the time spent getting carbonite working properly for MoP.

If you are donating for Carbonite itself do so Here. The original developers have put many hours into the product and deserve our support.

lol I wish… I’m just treading very carefully when it comes to anything to do with carbonite.

I know in 6 hours when MoP unlocks people are going to be searching for a working version and I don’t want them coming here and thinking I want donations for someone elses code because of the button.

As it is I am very curious to see what happens in 6 hours mostly to satisfy my own curiosity. Will 5.041 continue working, or will it die in a horrible flame like when patch 5.04 hit.

nothing is changing in 6 hours afiak. Client side, it’s already set up how it needs to be for MoP. Server side, they just need to flip a switch, as they have said. I guess depending on how they handle the switch flipping, aka the actual process of the switch.

hopefully nothing breaks, either way, you’re awesome.

Nice of you to say this, but I’m still glad I donated to you! Even if you weren’t working on another addon, the work you’ve done and continue to do for “the other addon” warrants what I’ve been able to donate so far! Keep up the great work Rythal!

I donate to original developers and also to Rythal too …
But because original authors abondoned their project,no matter how awesome it is ,i think rythal deserves more support …
i m looking forward on RUMA.
